The group spoke in a statement by Pius Okoro and Mazi Tobechukwu Iwuoha, Convener and Secretary respectively.
In the statement on Friday in Umuahia, the Abia State capital, the group said it has “observed with dismay the deliberate attempt by Alex Otti and his camp to either scuttle the judicial process challenging his election which right thinking people consider flawed in many respects, or to intimidate the judiciary into surrendering its independence and forthrightness to a mob set in motion by Otti, or both, since it became public knowledge that the March 18 election is being challenged in court by multiple candidates”.
