The camp of Babajide Sanwo-Olu is said to have been rattled by the petition submitted before the Lagos governorship election tribunal by the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the March 18, 2023 election, Abdul-Azeez Adediran, challenging the declaration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as winner.
Adediran (better known by his supporters and admirers as Jandor), is asking the tribunal to disqualify the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Labour Party (LP) candidates in the election for “non-compliance” with the Electoral Act 2022 as well as the guidelines of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Governor Sanwo-Olu, and his camp, as gathered, are deeply worried about the quantum of evidence showing that the gubernatorial election in Lagos and the result, were surrounded by corruption and other forms of malpractice.
