Reacting to the results so far declared while speaking in an interview with the BBC Hausa Service monitored in Kano Sunday, the Kano state chapter chairman of the party, Alhaji Umar Haruna Doguwa, said the party would never fold its arms and allow its mandate be taken away.
Doguwa who accused the APC of hiring thugs and causing commotion in some of the polling units considered as NNPP’s stronghold, however, stated that depriving the electorate of their democratic rights was out of sinc with the civilised norms of real politicking.
