Uplifting Youths Through Agriculture (UYOTA), a Nigerian-based non-for-profit organisation, which focuses on empowering young ones through agriculture, is partnering Wambugu Apples, a Kenya agriculture firm, to empower Nigerian youths through cultivation of apple fruit.
Speaking at a meeting organised in Lagos by the two organisations, Afoma Adigwe, founder of UYOTA, explained that it was imperative to partner with Wambugu Apples because of the new breed of specie of apple fruit, which can grow anywhere in Nigeria.
