In an airstrike conducted by the Nigerian Airforce’s Operation Whirl Punch, bandits attacking Sabon Layi village in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area (LGA) of Kaduna State were neutralized.
The troops responded to a distress call, engaging and killing the bandits who were shooting, rustling cattle, looting properties, and committing other crimes.
The bandits were sighted fleeing for cover from the aircraft and were neutralized by the troops after several passes.
