A socio-political group, Ondo Democracy Front, has asked the national leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to give the position of Deputy Speaker to Ondo State in view of its role in the emergence of Sen. Bola Tinubu as president-elect.
In a statement on Sunday in Akure by the Chairman of the group, Mr Gbenga Asaolu, the group explained that the state strongly and overwhelmingly voted for APC in the just-concluded elections.
The group specifically expressed support for Mr Timehin Adelegbe, who represents Owo/Ose Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
