From February 25 to March 31, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) reported five new COVID-19 cases, with four cases from Rivers and one from Lagos.
As of the latest situation report released on Saturday, the country has confirmed a total of 266,665 cases, with 259,951 recoveries and 3,155 deaths across 36 states and the federal capital territory. The agency also noted that four states, namely Abia, Kaduna, Kano, and Nasarawa, did not record any new cases.
The NCDC continues to coordinate the national response activities through a multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC) activated at Level 2.
Meanwhile, the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency (NPHCDA) reported on Friday that 71,183,637 of the total eligible individuals have been fully vaccinated, and 11,871,959 have received partial vaccination.
