Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Council in Lagos State, Senator Ganiyu Olanrewaju Solomon, yesterday, said the election of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as president-elect and the re-election of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, was an unusual combination tied together for a new Nigeria and a progressive Lagos at the same time.
Solomon, who in a statement personally signed, to eulogise Tinubu, said anyone conversant with the political trajectory of the president-elect and his career path, would admit his route to successful feat had never been easy, noting also that when the heat heavily turned on him in the lead up to the national elections, it became apparent that he would emerge victorious at the end of the day.
