The Gulf country of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has expanded its list of countries whose nationals can obtain a visa on arrival, offering greater ease of entry for tourists and visitors.
The UAE Digital Government recently updated the list, which now includes over 70 nationalities eligible for this service.
While some nationalities can obtain a visa on arrival, others must apply for a visa in advance, according to an announcement from the UAE Digital Government’s official account.
This move is in line with the UAE’s tourism targets, which aim to attract $123 billion in spending to the economy and 40 million hotel guests annually by 2031. A complete list of nationalities eligible for 30, 90 or 180-day visas on arrival, along with the necessary conditions and requirements, can be found below.
Mexican passport holders are eligible for a visa on arrival valid for 180 days, while select Indian citizens can also obtain a visa on arrival provided they meet certain criteria. It should be noted that the UAE government reserves the right to modify the list of eligible countries for visa on arrival at any time.
