He won ahead of the widely accepted and loved Labor Party candidate Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour popularly called GRV and the controversial candidate of the PDP Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran aka Jandor.
Truth be told, this is the toughest election in the history of Lagos as APC was on their toes to keep running the affair of Lagos as youths across the state clamor for change as they show their support for GRV because they believe Sanwo-Olu is not fit for the race.
In fact, many Non-Yoruba living in Lagos claimed – Lagos is a no man’s land but the people of Lagos showed them they truly own the land 🤣🤣
