PDP expels senatorial candidate in prominent southeast state, withdraws senatorial nomination

  • In the letter containing his expulsion, the party also noted that his nomination as the candidate of the Enugu-east senatorial district had been withdrawn

The expulsion of Senator Chimaroke Nnamani of the Enugu-east senatorial district from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been announced by the National Working Committee (NWC).

As reported by the New Telegraph, the expulsion of Senator Nnamani was confirmed in a letter issued by the party to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
