About 98 senators – elect were on Tuesday issued with certificates of return by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.
They emerged winners in their respective senatorial districts at the National Assembly election held in the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Saturday, February 25, 2023.
