In Serie A, Kingsley Ehizibue and Destiny Udogie featured from the start, while Isaac Success came off the bench as Udinese crashed to a 3-1 defeat at Inter Milan.
Over to the French Ligue 1 where Terem Moffi and Folarin Balogun fired blanks as OGC Nice forced visiting Reims to a goalless draw.
In Austria, youngster Michael Usor came off the bench to set up Keito Nakamura’s 90th-minute equaliser in LASK’s 1-1 draw at Reid.
Finally in Belgium, Victor Boniface made it five goals in 23 appearances, but it did not help Union Saint Gilloise avoid a 4-2 loss at home to Standard Liege.
