About 5,950 criminal, civil cases recorded in Bauchi – Chief Judge

No fewer than 5,950 criminal and civil cases were recorded from January 2021 to February 13th, 2023 across Bauchi State. Out of this, 420 were Gender Based Violence related.

The Chief Judge of Bauchi State, Justice Talatu Umar, disclosed this in her speech at a press conference for the launch of the Bauchi State Violence Against Persons Prohibition Law, Administration of Criminal Justice Law and the Penal Code which held at the NUJ Secretariat, on Tuesday.
