U.S. will act against China threats – Biden

The U.S. would act to protect itself should China threaten its sovereignty, U.S. President Joe Biden said in his State of the Union address on Tuesday.

Biden said he was committed to working with China where it could advance U.S. interests and benefit the world.

“But make no mistake about it, as we made clear last week, if China threatens our sovereignty, we will act to protect our country. And we did.’’
