A senior editor with the News Agency of Nigeria, Chioma Ugboma, has mourned the demise of her brother and judge, Nnaemeka Ugboma, who was shot dead on Thursday during a court sitting in Imo State.
The PUNCH reported that the gunmen on Thursday murdered Ugboma, the chairman of Ejemekwuru Customary Court in the Oguta Local Government Area of Imo.
The judge was killed by the gunmen who operated on motorcycles while he was presiding over a court session.
The incident brought the court sitting to an abrupt end as lawyers, court staff and litigants fled.
