Honour your ‘unwritten agreement’ with Tinubu, group says to Buhari

A North-South Progressive Stakeholders pressure group has urged President Buhari to fulfill the unwritten agreement he made with the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, before taking office in 2015.

The group made the appeal at a press conference in Abuja, saying Buhari’s lack of enthusiasm for the ruling party’s candidate is straining the North-South alliance and being fueled by elements in the presidency.

The convener of the group, Alwan Hassan, said that the president’s non-compliance with the agreement is causing negative vibes and leading to concerns ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

He stated that those in the presidency who are hindering the progressive North-South alliance are acting for their own selfish interests and causing hardship for Nigerians.

Hassan appealed to the president to uphold his promise to Tinubu and campaign for him in the upcoming election.
