The procedure got underway in 2019 when the FCCPC and the ECA started talking about improving competition laws and policies between their respective organizations.
On Thursday, 2nd of February, 2023, the Egyptian Competition Authority (ECA), and the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to further commercial fairness between the two nations.
“In this regard, the FCCPC and ECA have solidified their engagements in a Memorandum of Understanding.” A statement by both parties reads in parts.
