INEC extends timeline for collection of PVC

The INEC has announced an extension to the deadline for the collection of Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) for one more week.

The collection, which was originally set to end on January 29th, will now continue until February 5th. This decision was made following a meeting between INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu, and the Resident Electoral Commissioners (RECs) to discuss the ongoing collection of PVCs in the 774 Local Government Offices across the country.

In addition to extending the deadline, collection hours have also been extended by two hours, taking place from 9am to 5pm daily, including weekends.
