Obasanjo hungered for third term, wouldn’t have succeeded if he dared, Orji Kalu reveals

Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has carpeted former President Olusegun Obasanjo over his denial of ever harbouring the intention to tinker with the nation’s constitution in order to elongate his tenure in office.

The Abia North Senator who played a leading role to derail the Obasanjo’s third term agenda described the recent statement by the former president in which he claimed that he never wanted a third term as President as “fallacious”.
