A founding member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and erstwhile member of the party’s Board of Trustees (BoT), Professor Alphonsus B.C Nwosu, has said he didn’t resign from the party because of Peter Obi.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that there are insinuations in some quarters that Nwosu left the PDP because he has been very vocal about the South East producing the next president of Nigeria and because of his alleged support for Obi, presidential flag-bearer of the Labour Party for the 2023 election. But Nwosu played down that notion.
