The stakes for the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) in Gombe state ahead of the 2023 elections are getting higher.

Hon. Bashir Yakubu Barau, who represents the Kaltungo West constituency, left the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) to join NNPP.
