Resident doctors threaten fresh strike over ‘delayed review’ of salary structure, others

The Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) on Tuesday threatened to embark on a nationwide strike over the Federal Government’s failure to address its demands.

The NARD disclosed this in a letter signed by its President, Innocent Orji, and addressed to the Minister of Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire.

The association is demanding an upward review of the Medical Residency Training Fund (MRTF) and payment of outstanding arrears of the new hazard allowance, among others.
