Oil revenue: Bayelsa receives N90bn from excess crude accounts

The Bayelsa government on Wednesday confirmed it got N90 billion from the Excess Crude Account (ECA) from the Federal Government as of October 2022.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that ECA is a fund warehouses oil revenue in excess of budget benchmark of crude oil prices for redistribution to states on a quarterly basis.

The Technical Adviser to the Bayelsa Governor on Treasury and Accounts, Mr Timipre Seipulo, announced the figure at the monthly breakdown of income and expenditure for months of September and October 2022 in Yenagoa.
