The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Delta State, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, has stated that if the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, wins the election, the abandoned Export Processing Zone (EPZ) in Ogidigben in Ugborodo, Warri South-West LGA, will come to fruition.
Omo-Agege pledged to work with and support the Tinubu administration to see that the multibillion-dollar EPZ project is launched and completed for the good of all Nigerians.
He gave the assurance on Tuesday when the Delta APC ward-to-ward campaign visited the ancient Ugborodo town and Gbaramatu Kingdom in Warri South-West Local Government Area of the state.
Highlighting some of the benefits of the project upon completion including job opportunities, Omo-Agege berated Governor Ifeanyi Okowa-led government for not taking the project as his ‘personal project’ considering its economic benefits to the people of the state.
