The traditional ruler of Obot Akara Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, Okuku Umo, has said members of his community will reciprocate Governor Udom Emmanuel’s goodwill to them by voting for the Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate in the 2023 elections.
He said though his people (Obot Akara) did not know the PDP governorship candidate, Umo Eno that much, they would count on the goodwill of the governor to vote for him during the elections.
The royal father spoke on Friday at his palace while fielding questions from newsmen.
He lauded Governor Emmanuel for his rural transformation programmes, which he said had facilitated commerce and engendered economic development among the rural dwellers, adding that his people would remain grateful to the PDP-led administration in the state.
