Within the last two months, there have been barrage of attacks against governors across the 36 states of the federation, bordering on alleged squandering of allocations. TAIYE ODEWALE reports
Nigeria being a federation, has the centre called the federal government and headed by an elected executive President and Commander in Chief (C – in – C) of the Armed Forces while the 36 states in line with the doctrine of federalism, are the federating units, headed by elected governors who also are the Chief Security Officers of their respective states.
