Governor Aminu Tambuwal, the Director-General of the PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation, the party’s vice presidential candidate, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, and other PDP leaders, including Dr. Sule Lamido, former Osun State governor, Olagunsoye Oyinlola; former governor of Cross River State, Liyel Imoke, and Oyewole Fasaweon, met with former Nigerian President, Olusegun Obasanjo, at his Ogun State residence, on Saturday.
Speaking after a closed-door session, Tambuwal said the team was in Abeokuta “to pay our usual respect and to continue to consult our leader, former President Olusegun Obasanjo, on matters of national interest, and we have had a very fruitful conversation with him.”
