Investment into Nigeria’s ICT sector over $70bn, now second highest contributor to GDP – Danbatta

Prof. Danbatta made the disclosure while delivering his keynote address at the 2nd International Conference of the Association of Media and Communications Researchers of Nigeria (AMCRON) taking place virtually from 1st -2nd December 2022.

He noted that the communications industry has become a major contributor to our national economy with ICT industry contributing 18.94% to the nation’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
