Recently, precisely in the month of September 2022, Patience-Oniha, Director-General of the Debt Management Office (DMO), said her office was concerned about the Federal Government’s debt service-to-revenue ratio, saying the Federal Government’s projected deficit for the 2023 budget stands at N11.30 trillion, 54 percent higher than the previous budget’s estimated deficit. Given the foregoing debt situation that is no doubt of concern to virtually all informed Nigerians. What is your take?
