ABUJA – The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq, has said that a one-year partnership with an International Non-Governmental Organization, “Save the Children International,” would lift 100 million Nigerians out of poverty.
The Minister said that the partnership meant to monitor the federal government’s National Social Investment Programmes in the states as a third party, will increase the citizens’ trust in the government and hasten the effectiveness of the NSIP to achieve President Mohammed Buhari’s directive by 2030.
