According to the Commissioner for Environment, Sunday Akinwalere, and the Acting General Manager, Ondo State Waste Management Authority (ODSWMA), Kunle Olajumbu, the violators of the monthly exercise will be made to face the full wrath of the law.

The duo, who disclosed this shortly after monitoring the environmental sanitation excise for October within the Akure metropolis, urged residents of the state to make cleanliness a daily affair to ward off any form of diseases.

Olajumbu characterized the sanitation excise as successful, with a high level of compliance, while also urging all citizens, especially market vendors and other business owners, to continue working with the government to guarantee a safe and clean environment for everyone to live in.
